This Hudgins Group is for descendants of Carter, Ransom, and Thomas Hudgins who had connections in the Virginia counties of Amelia, Nottoway, and Surry. Other Hudgins will be incorporated into the group as we find documented evidence of connections.

We will welcome researchers of other Hudgins lines because we realize the necessity of knowing about other Hudgins families in order to define our own interests. To become a member of this group you MUST provide your regular email address. If your Yahoo account is not the address from which you get most of your email, you will need to place your regular email address as the one which takes care of delivering the messages from our group. We do want participating members, and bouncing messages from a Yahoo address does not accomplish our goal. That only accomplishes being dropped by Yahoo or by me, from our group. If protecting your identity is a problem, you still have the option of keeping your regular email address private, and will be seen only by our membership. If Yahoo is your regular email provider, there is no problem.
