Sibling Find Group

This group is for families who adopted from Hubei and who wish to see if their child might have a bio-sibling who also was adopted.

Bio-siblings are not necessarily adopted via the same SWI. This group thus provides a Hubei-wide venue for interested families to post basic info and photos of their children, in the hope that another family might see a resemblance and wish to pursue more information.

While discovering a bio-sibling is exciting, issues of profound significance may arise for our children and ourselves. Potential pitfalls and ramifications of sibling searches must be considered. This group is a secure place to explore and discuss these issues in a sensitive and understanding way.

To join, you must have adopted from Hubei and provide qualifying info, below
(which we enter in the site Database on your behalf).

TO BE APPROVED ...

3. Your e-mail address .. 4. Child's full Chinese name .. 5. Child's current first name(s)
6. Child's date of birth (reverse format: yyyy-mm-dd)
7. Date child found, if known (yyyy-mm-dd) .. 8. Place child found (if known)
9. Adoption date (yyyy-mm-dd) .. 10. Name of child's SWI.
