A blonde woman was speeding
down the road in her little red sports car and was pulled over by a
woman police officer who was also a blonde. The blonde cop asked to see
the blonde driver's license.
She dug through her purse and was getting progressively more agitated.
"What does it look like?" she finally asked.
The policewoman replied, "It's square and it has your picture on it."
The driver finally found a square mirror, looked at it and handed it
to the policewoman. "Here it is," she said.
The blonde officer looked at the mirror, then handed it back saying,
"Okay, you can go. I didn't realize you were a cop.

Gene, thanks for the files, I'm reading them right now and find them
interesting. In one, it mentioned there's an ATM in the police
department. Is this ATM tied to a specific bank or is it a 'generic'
one like you'd see in Circle K stores?
Thanks. (wondering about the 'bank branck' for fee purposes only!)

The town of Huachuca City's open meeting commenced 1900 hrs 11 May
2006 once again displayed the reluctence of the board members to
address legitimate questions and concerns of Huachuca City's populace.
After the opening of the assymbly A call to the public for comments
and suggestions concerning agenda items is instigated. After public
input, commissioners of the various departments and sections are
required to present reports on their areas of responsiblities. And it
seems reasonable to answer queries pertaining to these at this time.
But Alas, the same excuse of unable to answer concerns are not
permitted during this time. I do not agree as the commissioners
reports are part of agenda and as such, queries on the conduct of
departments are part of the agenda.
If I am wrong in my assumption of the obligation of commissioners
duty to answer or in the very least acknowledge the questions, this is
a viable solution.
The mayor or town clerk record questions or suggestions and be
required to give answer to such imput at the next meeting. Make this
action a agenda item to inform the citizen as is his due.
It's an Arizona National Bank ATM.
Best Wishes Gene&Jan McCullough.

It was targeted to open "Early" in May 2006, but the way it's going it
will be late May 2006 or early in June 2006 or maybe even July. DUH!
Your guess is probably as good as mine.

Almost sounds like the
military--don't believe it until it has already happened! That's the
attitude I developed w/ my husband being in the Army for 20 years!
Thank goodness he has retired! WHEW! I do see the progress and I'm
looking forward to it opening again. Sure have missed the Circle K!!
Can't beat the refill of coffee for 97 cents! :-)

Jann, I work at the Quality Mart here in town and we BEAT the price of a refill of coffee it is only 69 cents and it's also
farmer brothers coffee we also have cappiccino. just thought i would let you know
Donna, thanks for the
info--what kind of creamer does Quality mart use? I know, sounds
petty, but that's one of the reasons I enjoy Circle K--the liquid
creamer dispenser they have!! I usually get a mixture of cinnamon
coffee, the cinnamon mocha & then the liquid creamer to help cool
it off a little! Weird, I know!
I'll have to check it out though! Again, thanks for the info!

Thanks for the info, Gene.
I rode by the building today and it looks pretty good!! Not so many
windows as the regular Circle K's, I noticed.

Andy,
Do you have an estimated date of opening for the new H. C. store?
Thanks - Ron

Just the normal stuff, hotdogs, hamburgers,
music/live/recorded, fireworks(weather permitting),
nothing special this year. The problem seems to be
that there are only three people on the Parks and Rec
Commission and they should have seven. The pool and
the new horse shoe pits are going to be open.
Best Wishes Gene&Jan McCullough.
