This group is for people who are interested in sharing information about hand drafting custom fit patterns for clothes.

I have specifically started this group to follow through on questions, comments, and suggestions people may have as a result of using my book "How to Make Sewing Patterns" or taking my patternmaking classes. However, any discussion of hand drafted patterns is welcome.

Posts to this group must remain on topic. Please conduct any personal or off topic discussions you may wish to have with other group members privately. This group in not for discussing pattern making software or altering and using commercial patterns as these are quite different topics.

Please use the subject line of your messages to identify your specific interest. In other words, instead of saying "Question" say "Question about sleeve ease." This will make the message archive much more useful for everyone.

I will be using this group as a First-to-Know list for my Patternmaking Classes and Workshops and any supplemental material I develop for my book. If you have a pattern related product or service you sell and would like to share with the group, please email me privately for permission to post the message.
