Description

The Ideas Club meets to discuss ideas in the philosophy of humanism. The range of the philosophical discussion often includes history,ethics, economics, politics, culture, science or belief among other fields or topics. In anyone of the meetings, all or some of the preceding may be open to discussion. Usually the participants provide delightful insight because the depth and breath or knowledge inherent in their varied backgrounds do match that of the mentioned topics. The preparation and presentation of ideas are based often upon a selected book and sometimes several sources are used for a topic. The results of the meetings enlighten both the presenters and other participants thereby fulfilling
Humanistic goals.
