This group is for those who wish this landmark, the Pelster Housebarn, to remain a testament to our German ancestors, and this wonderful old-world building to survive for many future generations. The Friends of the Pelster Housebarn's mission is to assist the State of Missouri in continuing the preservation of the building, the architectural research associated with its construction, and the rich cultural education, that is provided by this unique historic and nationally significant site.
