This is the email list for Hounslow and Brentford Friends of the Earth.

This email list is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas amongst individuals interested in Friends of the Earth campaigns in the area. Those ideas will then better inform the group as to what issues are of interest, and help us plan campaigns accordingly.

Hounslow and Brentford Friends of the Earth was founded in 1994, and has been active on a whole range of issues such as Aviation (Heathrow), Waste (The Colnbrook Incinerator) and many more.

In 2007 the group has been busy delivering The Big Ask campaign locally, holding street stalls, campaigning at festivals, organising cinema showings, lobbying local MPs and more. For an overview of what we’ve been up to and more, to see our Celebration of 2007

In 2008 we plan to start meeting twice a month. Once in a relatively informal way at the Brentford Green Drinks on the 1st Tuesday on the month and again on the 3rd Thursday of the month in a more formal way, at a location tbd in Hounslow.
