We are a nonreligious community of naturally-minded families who are actively homeschooling young children in and around Weston. Although we may use different schooling methods, we are all interested in creating a peaceful, respectful environment to nurture our children's development and are committed to positive discipline.


Purpose of our group:


1) Local support and discussion regarding homeschool in general, with sharing of resources, ideas, frustrations, etc.
2) Opportunities for the moms and children to get together socially and for creative projects (arts, music, nature, etc)
3) Opportunities to discover areas, events, facilities within Weston (and nearby ... nature center, etc.) and occasionally outside our area (MODS, Beach walks for discovery, etc.)
4) Opportunities for the whole families to get together on occasion ... beach days, family picnics, etc.
5) With all of the above in an effort to create a close-knit community of like-minded families

In order to keep a peaceful, respectful atmosphere at our events and activities: no weapons or violent play, no tv/videos, no commercialized characters.
