Hello! You have found the Homeschooling in Central Orange County (HCOC) California group. It is our desire to be an inclusive, member directed support group of families who are unique and diverse in their methods and styles of home education. We welcome everyone.

As a group, our emphasis is to coordinate activities for homeshcooling families convenient to Central Orange County. It is our goal to provide opportunities for our multi-aged children (and we adults) to play, learn, and grow together forming lasting friendships and bonds. Our weekly park day is noon until 3ish or so on Mondays in Orange at Eisenhower Park. Group members are welcome to post fieldtrips and other activities they would like others to join-in on. It could be as simple as posting that one family is going to a certain museum and would anyone like to come along or it could be an event that requires pre-payment/planning.

This list is interactive so that we can help one another find the resources and support to accomplish our chosen tasks. We wish to support those investigating homeschooling, new to homeschooling, and veterans of homeschooling. This is a place where you will always find something going on.

Please remember when posting or reading that this a diverse group of people and keeping our conversations friendly is very important.
