This site is for Homeschool Days at Foster, which occurs on Tuesdays during the school year at Foster Community Center in Lansing, Michigan. Homeschool Days at Foster focuses on students ages 9-18, with some activities for younger siblings, plus networking opportunities for parents.

We ask that you limit your posts to topics directly related to classes and activities that occur on Homeschool Days at Foster. Please refrain from religious, political, personal or commercial posts.

Homeschool Days at Foster is coordinated by a parent liason team which facilitates communication between participating homeschoolers and Foster Community Center. Foster Community Center is operated by Lansing Parks and Recreation. They provide the facility and systems for student registration and teacher contracts. None of the views expressed on this site, or at Foster, by any participants in Homeschool Days at Foster necessarily represent those of Foster Community Center or Lansing Parks and Recreation.

On this Yahoo group, you can:
1) Ask questions about anything you need to know about Homeschool Days at Foster. Please check out the Documents Section.
2) Make posts that offer or suggest classes, activities, or teachers you would like.
3) Participate in polls to give feedback and vote on classes and activities.
4) Provide specific information about a class, event or activity if you are under contract as the teacher or leader.
5) Find out about final schedules, changes, cancellations, etc. that affect Homeschool Days at Foster.

The Community Room, Room 213, is available for families to eat lunch and snacks and hang out between classes. This room is connected to a kitchenette, which has a sink and a fridge. Come and hang out with friends and meet new homeschoolers.
