This group is open to discussion of all firearms suitable for 'homeland defense,' from your favorite .22 to that dedicated long-range rifle, and definitely includes the AR-15s, SKSs, AKs, Garands, FN-FALs, M1As, etc. Any rifle you are comfortable and effective with is a homeland defense rifle.
