INDIAN PHILOSOPHY : SANT KABIR

Sant Kabir is India's best loved philosopher poet. His works
have been read, studied, dissected, discussed; interpolated
and plagiarised for centuries. A weaver by profession Kabir
was entirely a self made and self-taught philosopher and mystic.

In today's language, he was an independent thinker. There is
huge debate about the religion he was born in, his attitude
towards nirguna bhakti, saguna bhakti and towards brahmans.
What is beyond debate is Kabir's huge contribution to India's
spiritual, mystic and philosophical tradition.
