Naseeruddin Mohammed Humayun enjoys special status in the
Mughal dynasty. Son of the founder of the dynasty Babar and
father to possibly the greatest Mughal of them all, Emperor
Akbar, his life was full of vicissitudes. A study of his life gives
draws a clear picture into the goings-on of that era. Humayun,
born at Kabul on 6 March 1508 CE, was possibly the most
controversial Mughal ruler. His expulsion and defeat have often
led to negative opinions about him even in the minds of
historians.

times of Humayun.
