Hillcrest is an area in Little Rock, Arkansas located just west of downtown. This e-Group is opened to members of Hillcrest Residents Association(HRA)and other support organizations.

The mission of HRA is to encourage a sense of community, preserve the historic character, promote safety, protect the parks, and support the neighborhood schools and commercial district in Hillcrest.

The purpose of this egroup is to assist in communicating ideas regarding the civic, social, economic, and cultural improvement of Hillcrest, i.e., to be clearinghouse of information for the neighborhood.

This egroup shall be used to:
· Foster community awareness of social, cultural, and economic problems of the area and invite a dialogue for solutions
· Support educational, social, and recreational activities to benefit the people of the neighborhood
· Alert neighborhood to crime issues and crime prevention tips
· Trade information about street maintenance and upkeep
· Announce Hillcrest community gatherings and happenings
· Announce lost/found pets in the area
· Educate about zoning and historic preservation issues
· Promote awareness of local, state, and federal programs that might benefit our neighborhood, parks, and playgrounds

·Arguments or comments among/about neighbors, renters, landlords, etc.
