This hiking group is designed to offer a means of communication from one hiker to other local hikers. Find a long lost trail or discover a new one, host a hiking fundraiser and promote it here, buy/sell/trade hiking gear or offer for free, share your pictures or view other hikers shots, Share and find helpful links, organize or join a group hike or connect with individual hikers, join in a "hikers" photo contest, ANYTHING HIKING goes!

All levels of experience and all ages welcome here and there's hiking year round!! Hiking across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts!

To save every member time, please state location of posts in subject line along with brief summary of email. For examples:

Wanted trail info: (White Mountains, NH)
Hike: White Mountains - Oct. 10th
Fundraiser: Homeless (White Mtns, NH) Oct. 10th
For Sale: GPS (White Mountains, NH)

Include all possible details in the body such as date, time, cost and details of parking (if any) and any personal recommendations of things to bring. If you decide to organize a group trip, it's a good idea to find out who's got dogs and if they are friendly, just makes for a relaxing trip for everyone. This is a GREAT way to meet new hikers and there is an element of safety in numbers.

By becoming a member, you agree that this is a "hike at your own risk" site. Owners and moderators are not responsible for incidents or accidents that may occur nor is the person creating an outing/field trip responsible. Also, just a reminder...you are responsible for your own animals on the trail as well. Please keep safety in mind when sharing personal information and when hiking.
