This is a list for discussion of the religious practices of the ancient Hellenic world as well as modern religious practices that are in some way based on those. We welcome Reconstructionists, Wiccans, and any other pagans who worship the Greek gods in some way, as well as people who are interested in talking about such worship. This list is for polytheists with explorations into the myths, gods, and ancient practices as well as personal experiences. Do you need to be Greek to join us? Not at all: We represent many backgrounds, nationalities, cultures, and ethnicities. We believe that our diversity is one of our strengths, and we welcome you into our mix.

We are unaffiliated with any Greek religious organization and welcome everyone regardless of membership or lack thereof in any group online or offline, provided they adhere to the rules and topics. For discussions strictly on reconstructionist Greek religion, please feel free to check out Hellenismos-L.

Discussions will invariably drift as people talk about different topics, but this list is intended to stay primarily on the subject of Hellenic Paganism. Please be cautioned that subject matter and topics on here may be of an offensive nature to some due to the nature of Greek religion, mythology, and our beliefs, but attacking people personally due to their beliefs or opinions is not permitted. Beyond that, people will not be censored here.
