The International Society of Hebrew Hispanic Jews (ISHHJ) is a focal point of information and support for the Hebrew Hispanic Jews worldwide. Spain the Iberian Peninsula was originally called "Sephar" (B'resheet(Genesis) 10:30) or "Sepharad" ('Ovadyah (Obadiah) 19:20). Sephar was the original dwelling place of the "children of Eber/Ibriy" (B'resheet 10:21,30). Eber/ Ibriy is the root word to Hebrew. Iberia/Ibria means "land of the Hebrews". Spain was called "Iberia" from 4000 BCE (or "Before the Common Era") to 300 BCE. The writer of the Sefer B'resheet (book of Genesis) records that Abraham's original identity as "Abram the Hebrew"(14:13), meaning he was from Iberia (the land of the Hebrews) or what is now called Spain (and was, by todays standard a Hispanic). The Hispanic people are descedents of the tribe of Judah (fourth son of Israel) and were originally called "Yahudi/Yehudi" or Jew. After 500 plus years there is an "AWAKENING" among the lost Hebrew Hispanic Jews. Many are returning back to there heritage and original jewish teachings. This site is dedicated toward this endeavor. We welcome all those from the countries of Mexico, South America and the other 20+ nations of Hispanic/Sephardic origin to include the Philippines. You are of the Tribe/Nation of Judah. We also welcome the other tribes of Israel who are seeking to be a part or return to the old ways of the Torah. This site is for those who are hungry to learn the old ways, repair the breech of mis-understanding and go back to the original covenant and teachings of the Commandments, Statutes, Precepts, Judgements and the Laws as founded in the Holy Torah.

We are a member of and support the International Center of Hebrew Hispanic Congregations (ICHHC). We believe in the ancient teaches of Sefer Torah Hebrewism(simular to Karaite Judaism) that predates other Sects of Judaism by thousands of years, described in the Torah and T'NK (B'resheet (Genesis) to Malakhi (Malachi), the Hebrew Bible.
