Many Heathens believe in being prepared for any task or situation which may come. Heathen Preparedness is about skills where people can learn from each other how to do just about anything from cooking to rocket science. Most importantly, it is about living life to the fullest in difficult times and economic circumstances. It is about co-operation, social change and our response to it, working together to improve life for Heathen communities, the formations of heathen communities, food and lifestyle cooperatives, and much much more. It is about how we are responding and interacting NOW. It is about dealing with issues of climate and economic change so that we survive and thrive in difficult times. It is also about people preparing for future disasters and social breakdown. It is about developing people's skills and building tribe. Whether building, plumbing, hunting, preparing and preserving food, farming and growing things, or any other level of preparedness that most can imagine. Heathen Preparedness is here to discuss it and act as a learning resource. It is about alternative living in harmony with nature, and our Gods and Goddesses, and fellow true folk. It is about survival and our reaction to climate change and how we can cope with the inevitable changes that are occurring. It is NOT about partisan politics, conspiracy theories, or the grassy knoll, unless the issue directly and proximally relates to Preparedness and relevant Heathen principles.
