*Please do not respond to WANTED posts with offers of items you have to sell. Likewise, do no offer to pay for items when you post a wanted message. Everything should be freely given and freely received. Items for sale, "wanted to buy" and garage sale ads may be posted at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/topeka_sales

*No religion, no politics, no s*e*x, no bartering and no advertising.

*Group members voted to not allow pet postings on this board. We refer pet posts to The Topeka Pet Exchange at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/topeka_pet_exchange

*Group members voted to not allow First Come First Serve/Come And Get It offers.

*Please use common courtesy in your dealings with other list members. Treat other people as you would expect to be treated. Don't promise an item to one member, then give it to another (unless the first member is a no-show). Show up when you say you will. If you can't, call or e-mail, and don't get upset if the giver makes other arrangements if you don't let them know. Likewise, do not show up terribly early for your pick-up appointment. It causes stress to the person giving their item. Remember that when someone makes an offer, they're giving a gift.

*Post an offer - one is required (more is better) before you begin posting wanteds.

*Try not repeat a wanted posting more than once every 30 days.
