Hi guys,

Along with everyone else we're feeling the financial pinch here in
Norfolk, VA.  Because of that I've pushed HRC back, we'll have to skip
2009 to ensure I've got enough cash to handle the show and hopefully
the economy will improve.

New date: Sept 25th, 2008
Location: Khedive Shrine Temple

Sorry about this but I need to be sure the finances are in order and
things are too rocky right now to be sure about things.

Hi Bobbi, Welcome to the group.  Congratulations on buying your new
guy; I caught a glimpse of him as I was running around showing my
models and thought he was gorgeous.  I hope one year you can make it
to the Hampton Roads show because it's a great show, which Michelle
(the show host) runs very well.  While not nearly as far away as you
are, for me it's usually about a 3 to 4 1/2 hour drive (depending on
where that year's show is located & traffic) but I've had so much fun
at the show when I've been able to attend that I try to make it each
year.

I want to thank you all for attending HRC 2008.  I think that this
year's show went very well and was a ton of fun (minus the fire alarm
sorry!!!).

I really enjoyed meeting some of you for the first time and getting to
catch up with so many friends I hadn't seen in awhile.  As always if
you have constructive critisim about the show please feel free to e-
mail me (do not write to say nasty rude things IE show was aweful, I
hate you etc.).

Thank you all for all the purchases of raffle tickets and silent
auction items! I appreciate all of the help in keeping the show running.

And thank you to everyone who has donated items, money, time, minion
and grunt work, moral support, sanity checks and everything else!  You
all make the show possible and I appreciate it so very much.

I've been asked this more than once.  It's not on the show site or the
registration because it's a bit in the air right now.  The hotel so far
does not have the room booked the night before, if it remains this way
I will be able to set up the night before meaning we can open the hall
and by 7 a.m. and potentially start by 8-8:30.  If I have to set up in
the morning the LATEST we will start will be 9 a.m.

assesed a late fee!  All post marks must be dated Saturday the 30th or
before to avoid late penalties.

Anyone registering after August 31st please e-mail me to be sure we
still have space prior to sending checks/money orders.  If we are full
I will return your entry fee and e-mail you as such.

Penciled in for judging the AR division of HRC 2009 is non other than
Thomas Bainbridge!!! As long as nothing changes look forward to seeing
Mr. Bainbridge himself at HRC 2009!

I'm pleased to announce I put down the deposit fee for the HRC 2009
location today!  We will be having HRC 2009 on Saturday, September
26th, 2009 and the location will be the Khedive Shrine Temple ballroom
in Chesapeake, VA.  We'll have half the ball room and the kitchen so we
will be able to order pizza or bring in sandwiches or whatever!  The
only thing with the food is it must come through the backdoor of the
kitchen not the mail hall due to spills in the past they enforce this
now.

So look forward to HRC 2009

Yep we've still got room :)  I'm probably going to cap registration at
30 max this year as the space is smaller but we've only got 11
confirmed entrants at this point so we're still open :)

As long as I've got the horse lists shouldn't be a problem with any
initials matching or being close.  I' can always refer back to the
horses lists to be sure I've got the right owner :)

Linda Graywolf-Carrero -- LCG (someone in her region uses the
initials "LGC", hence Linda using LCG).

Hey Nikki,

Hold off and turn in the horse lists the day of the show if you can.
I've got so much paperwork to keep track of right now it'll be easier
if I can get those day of the show and put them with the results.

I do need from all showers a list of your horses's names along with
the initials you are using to show.  I don't need what division each
horse is showing in :)

The list of horses is just in case an initial doesn't get written
down on the champs or I can't read a card or something.  It's REALLY
helpful if you guys TYPE those horse lists but hand written ones are
okay too as long you PRINT clearly!
