Description

Homeschool Watch is a place where articles, incidents and current legislation impacting homeschoolers can be posted and practically discussed. The list purpose is to efficiently inform, network and support the efforts of homeschoolers across the nation to keep homeschooling free. This is intended to be a list for homeschoolers actively working on legislative issues and not a theoretical debate society.

You *must* provide your real first and last names and the state in which you live in the COMMENTS section when you join the list. Failure to do so will mean an automatic rejection of your subscription request and you'll have to start over. Ex: Kay Brooks, Tennessee

Participants are expected to be polite at all times. Anyone violating the rules of civility, in the opinion of the moderator/owner, may be allowed to continue receiving messages but will have further posts moderated for content until the poster can be trusted again. I reserve the right to ban anyone and place the list on moderation. Incivility will include but not be limited to the use of profanity, calling people names instead of arguing the merits of the point of view, and the use of editorializing characters such as "$" replacing the "S" in a name.

The subject line of posts should begin with the two-letter state or country abbreviation when possible.

Please do not post entire articles. Post the URL and pertinent snips.

In consideration of others, please trim your messages when responding and make sure you change the subject line from "Digest #" to whatever is accurate and make sure you trim your post to exclude the digest.

Posters should remember that this is a public forum and once your post is made there is no way to control its content. Out of respect for each other, posters should indicate if the post can be forwarded or the assumption will be that specific permission to forward should be obtained.

Kay Brooks,
Owner
