HRPoets is an open forum for poets of all experience levels and styles in the greater Hampton Roads area. Please feel free to post info on events, reviews of readings, your poetry or the poetry of others. If you use LiveJournal, be sure to check out the HRPoets community. Check out the calender for info on many of the local poetry readings, slams and such. There's much more going on locally than what I have here, though. Be sure to check out Ghent Reader, Chesapeake Bay Poets and Oya Xclusive for much more detailed information. Feel free to add any events to the calender yourself. I'm as busy as I am forgetful, so I probably won't get around to it myself for a while.
