Parents/guardians are invited to the Hyattsville Elementary School Open House on February 22, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Join Hyattsville Elementary principal Jeanne Washburn, PGCPS Board Member Amber Waller, kindergarten teachers, PTA members, and others for this opportunity to learn about this neighborhood school. There will be informational materials available, including the school guide, and current parents on hand to answer questions. The event is geared toward families with incoming kindergarteners, but families of any prospective student are welcome to come and learn more about attending the Hyattsville Elementary. The meeting will be in the school cafeteria at 5311 43rd Ave. Refreshments will be available and children are welcome.
