HLA-SV, the Hearing Loss Association of Simi Valley, was founded in 2006 to provide support and understanding to people with hearing loss and to share ways of overcoming the inevitable problems of having to live with a hearing loss. Regular monthly meetings are conducted in such a way that all may hear. Friends & family members are most welcome. We occasionally feature a captionist or ASL interpreter.
You’re not alone with your hearing loss. Come meet some friendly hard of hearing people at our regular monthly meeting. Our chapter offers support, education, and social activities and is a place where you can see what others are doing to cope with their hearing loss and learn effective strategies for daily living.
Basic membership is free; voting membership is $35/yr for membership in the Hearing Loss Association of America.
