for those interested in an earlier starting time. i dont see any harm in
having a pre net ragchew. the contacts won't be valid toward any awards on the
hhh net. it will allow testing the waters to capture possibly better dx
conditions. it can be more casual, to permit chit chat, and conversation not
permitted on the hhh net. more info can be exchanged on rigs and antennas. it
will be helpful for the net, keeping the frequency occupied before net time, and
allowing the ncs' to see what the conditions are like, and what relays may be
available for them. recently, the hhh net was required to qsy a few times, due
to traffic a few khz either side. using 7.190 before net may minimize this
situation. volunteers could host as ncs or coordinators.
