Award winning playwright, actress, poet, Helena D. Lewis is a passionate performer. She has performed at numerous universities and colleges across the country and can be seen on the Peabody Award winning series, "Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry" on HBO. Her one-person show, "Call Me Crazy: Diary of A Mad Social Worker" won best short at the DownTown Urban Theater Festival and has been described by the Greenwich Village Gazette as "hilarious, moving and wise." In "Call Me Crazy" she chronicles her work as social worker portraying twenty-five different characters.
