The Home Based Learning Network of WA (HBLN) was established in 1990 to provide social contact and support for all people involved in home-based education in Western Australia.

This list is for all West Australian home based learners, from those who school-at-home to natural learners and anyone in-between.

This list should be used for the following:

* to let others know of resources, events and opportunities;
* to find things you are looking for in relation to home education;
* to find groups you are searching for in relation to home education;
* to post upcoming activities in the calendar; and
* to make friends and build your support network.

Users of this list treat each other with consideration, respect and courtesy. Failure to observe these practices results in permanent barring from the site.

All moderation of this site is left to our team of volunteers. Please leave the moderating of inappropraite posts to the official moderators of this site. Members who try to moderate others usage on-line will be barred from the site permanently.

HBLN is a non-sectarian, non-political organisation and this site, being an extension of HBLN, also follows these lines. Members are requested to refrain from expressing any political or religious viewpoints on this list. This does not however prohibit the passing on of information regarding materials or events used in home education of a religious nature or posts outlining political information that may be used in the learning process or policies that directly concern the community.

We welcome applications from long time users of our list, who would like to volunteer to join our team of moderators.
