Description

This Group is dedicated to the exchange of information about Amateur Radio Quad Antennas.

 We welcome all Quad Users, whether Commercial  or Homemade.

The group shares information about: Spreaders, wire, performance, comparisons, manuals, etc.

Anyone in the group can also list their quad for sale.

The groups posting will be moderated. Minimizing junk posts!

Hi All Thanks to all that answered my post. I planed to make it just like the 4 element lightningbolt. Some have suggested to feed with separate feed lines

I plan on using the budwig. I will use a couple of the copper wire nuts, the ones with the split bolt and nut, you use for connecting 10 and 12 ga wire. W5RY

Larry, Look here, about halfway down the page. This is what John did and I have some I made to use here that are identical and I made them from 1/4 inch nylon

Cubex also sells their center insulator, or you can easily make some. I made six for the quad I'm building here from nylon. Mike, k5wmg * *
