Harrisonburg VA Food Share is a group for sharing food both perishable and non perishable with others For FREE. This group is for all Harrisonburg and surrounding areas.

What to share? anything food related, canned food you do not want, baked goods, produce from your garden or store, seeds coupons, hunted meats, live poultry whatever no limits. If it could feed someone and you have it and do not want it to go to waste.... Food share it.

Anyone can jion be it business, farmer, individual anyone. If you are a farmer or gardener and have produce in the feild/garden that will go to waste if someone does not come pick it, tell everyone where and when it would be appropriate to come pick it, or pick off the ground ( you may set your own limits as to who, how much etc.). If you are a busisness who deals in food and would rather share then throw away, more power to you. As long as it is free Food share it.
