The Humboldt Bay Mycological Society (HBMS) is a non-profit organization devoted to the appreciation, understanding, and enjoyment of fungi.

This list is for our mushroom club members (and friends) to communicate efficiently regarding HBMS activities, the mushroom scene in the Northern California area, and to share ideas and interests related to mycology.

The HBMS holds meetings and publishes a newsletter, the "Mycolog", once a month September to May. An annual Mushroom Fair takes place in November in Eureka.
