The Guixi List is for parents who have or are going to adopt a child or children from the Guixi Social Welfare Institute, Jiang Xi Province, the Peoples Republic of China. This list is a forum for parents to discuss adoption, parenting, China, culture, share adoption and parenting stories and photos, express concerns, look for answers, be supportive of one another and find friends. We hope it will also help unite this unique family that we are all a part of.

As a group we have done several group sponsored events for the Guixi SWI, including a red glove drive for the Chinese New Year and sponsoring a new Hugging Granny for the SWI. Occasional, continued, voluntary charitable events to benefit the Guixi Social Welfare Institute are a part of this group's mission.
