This is a strategy forum for Libertarians who believe that all politics should be local. Our strategy is simple: Ground up politics. If we don't win [locally], our ideas will never be implemented. We believe the Libertarian Party should focus on electable races, which are almost always at the local level. This forum currently has over 120 members.

GroundUpLibs advocates Libertarian Party state affiliates (1) Recognizing elected Libertarian officeholders, (2) Implementing a grassroots strategy to achieve victory, and (3) focusing on winnable, electable offices locally.

At the 2006 LP National Convention, GroundUpLibs plans to put forth a Grassroots Slate of Libertarian National Committee (LNC) candidates. The LNC has, for far too long, dictated to state LP affiliates and LP members how to do politics. It's time for grassroots activists to dictate to the LNC how to win elections rather than vice-a-versa.
