Bob Gould, a longtime list-member and well-known Sydney left identity,
passed away this morning (see note from Jenny below). He's been a dogged
critic of GLW, the Socialist Alliance and the DSP, before and it is an
understatement to say that we've had our disagreements. He helped keep us on
our toes.


Bob was a part of the left, and could be counted to be on the right side of
all the class struggles in Australia.

It is with great sadness that I tell you that Bob Gould died this morning.
Bob as many of you know has been unwell for some time and this morning he
had a fall sustaining a fatal head injury.



The Funeral will be held later this coming week. Please keep an eye on the
Funeral Notices in the SMH.
