I have removed Kim_bax and Robert Halfhill from the list for promoting 9/11
truth conspiracies.
I've been pretty bloody tolerant to date, even let them publicise their
events, but these conspiracies are a distraction from the anti-war movement.
If you want to discuss their stuff, here's Robert's blog:

Boingboing had as their guest blogger a week or two ago Arthur Goldwag who
has written a great deal on what's wrong with conspiracy theorists in
general and why its impossible to seriously discuss them. Here's two of his
posts:

He qoutes Chomsky: "One of the major consequences of the 9/11 movement,"
Noam Chomsky said, "Has been to draw enormous amounts of energy and effort
away from activism directed to real and ongoing crimes of state...crimes
that are far more serious than blowing up the WTC would be, if there were
any credibility to that thesis. That is, I suspect, why the 9/11 movement is
treated far more tolerantly by centers of power than is the norm for serious
critical and activist work."
Which I also believe.
Here's Arthur's bog:

If anyone would like to discuss this further, take it to one of the above
places, noty this list.
