Query:
Greetings everyone. I've been assigned an article for Processor.com that
focuses on how companies can save money by going green. With all the talk
about going green and buying green, data center/IT managers are bound to be
confused by all the hype. So what exactly is happening here?
The article
goes back to basics, kind of a primer on green issues for IT folks. Key
questions include:
1. What exactly does it mean to be green? 2. What's
being done and why? 3. What types of enterprises are getting involved in
the movement? 4. What are the advantages and disadvantages of going
green? 5. What incentives are there?
I'm looking for input from
technology analysts and green-focused tech vendors. Am doing interviews
Tuesday through Thursday of this week (June 29 through July 2), with a
deadline of Thursday afternoon, 2 p.m. EDT. E-mailed/quotable responses
will work, as will brief, 10-15-minute interviews. Let me know what works
best for you. Thanks in advance for your help!
