GreenBirmingham is for everyone with an interest in Birmingham's Environment. It aims to:
- Provide useful information about what's happening in Birmingham
- Publicise your events and campaigns
- Provide communication between diverse individuals and groups
- Allow you to discuss, network and organise.
Typical subjects for discussion are green and sustainability issues
in Birmingham, including transport, waste and recycling,
conservation and development.
GreenBirmingham is 'moderated' - messages are not passed on
if they are off-topic, or offensive, or overly repetitious, for
example. All posts should be both "green" AND
"Birmingham" (and polite).
GreenBirmingham allows you to view and post messages.
It has a list of
links to relevant websites . There is also a calendar for
local environmental events, and a contact list
for local organisations. For technical reasons, you will need to subscribe to post and gain full access to these.
All members are encouraged to add links, contacts and calendar entries so that GreenBirmingham becomes a useful shared resource for those interested in the environment in Birmingham.
