GTHomeschool is a fully inclusive homeschool networking and support group. This email loop is a "cyber bulletin board" available to all homeschoolers in the NW region of Michigan. People on this list also plan activities for support outside the online world. Homeschool support group members (other than GTH) that want to offer an activity to all area homeschoolers are welcome to join and post to our calendar. Everyone is welcome to organize an activity or outing or field trip according to your family's interests and availability.

If you live in Grand Traverse County, Michigan, or ANY NEARBY COUNTY and are homeschooling, you are welcome to join us. Also, if you live elsewhere but are planning a move here, please join up and get to know us. If you vacation here and would like to meet up with other homeschoolers while in town, please join us. Do you live locally and would like to be able to network with other homeschoolers? Join us!

We welcome all homeschoolers, regardless of religious or political leanings, income level, homeschool style or philosophy, family construct. No matter how long you have homeschooled, whether veteran or just starting out or even not quite there yet (because you just have babies, but you know you will homeschool someday!), we all have homeschooling as a common ground to stand on and build from.

In addition to activities, we share educational and homeschooling links, notification of community events for our region, and supportive conversation.

You don't have to participate in any online discussions nor regularly attend any activity to be on the list and access the calendar, but, of course, we do enjoy it when people get involved and share their abilities and ideas!
