We wanted to create a group located in the rural area of Grainger County (and the surrounding counties of Eastern Tennessee) where homeschooling families could discuss strategies, exchange advice on home schooling, have play dates, support and friendship. We have encountered several roadblocks on our homeschool journey and have had some difficulty in finding the *right* place to look for help. If you would like to join a group that is convenient to your location, where all ideas are welcomed and all members are encouraged to plan, as well as, participate then this is the group for you. The only thing that we ask is that you are respectful of all the members’ opinions, religious belief and teaching techniques. This group is intended for all members to have an equal voice. Holiday parties, field trips, and any other activities will be proposed and planned by any of our members.
