Hello everyone, I'm new around here but I'm not new to anime. Back in
the the 80's I got hooked on anime with shows like "Robotech",
"G-Force", "Speed Racer", "Kimba the White Lion" and "Voltron". Years
later Cartoon Network started showing a new show I'd never seen before
during the Toonami time slot called "Tenchi Muyo" and not only was I
hooked again for good but when I went online to learn more about this
show I discovered a whole new world of fandom I never knew existed.
Essentially I went from being an average every-once-in-a-while anime
watcher to a full blown Otaku.
Since 2000 I've been a writer of anime fan fiction, starting out with
stories based on "Tenchi Muyo" and then later branching out into stories
based on "Ranma 1/2". Links to my fan fiction can be found via my
website, the link is below in my signature (shameless plug). I also
moderate my own fan fiction centric discussion group over at Google
Groups as well as a group dedicated to the discussion of computer
technology and the sharing of computer technical support tips. Anyway,
I invite all of you to please go take a look at my stories and please
tell me what you think. I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions
when it comes to fan fiction.
A little about myself:
* I'm a 10 year veteran of computer technical support with companies
like Kmart, Ford Motor Co. and HP.
* I live in Maryland right near the boarder with Washington, D.C., just
a short subway ride away from where AnimeUSA is going to take place.
* My favorite anime are "Ranma 1/2", "Tenchi Muyo Ryu-Ohki", "Ah! My
Goddess", "Sasami Maho Shoujo Club" and "Stellvia".
* My favorite anime/Jpop artists/bands are "Megumi Hayashibara", "Orange
Range".and "Ayumi Hamasaki".
* My favorite songs are "Shooting Star" by Megumi Hayashibara and
"Evolution" by Ayumi Hamasaki.
* My favorite anime soundtrack is from "Macross 7".
* My favorite imported Japanese snack food is "Pocky", the chocolate
variety.
* My favorite manga right now is "Ranma 1/2".
* Shows I'm watching right now are "Sailor Moon R (ADV's uncensored
release)", and "Serial Experiment Lain".
* Shows I plan on buying in the near future are "Naruto", "Karin", and
"Ah! My Goddess TV Season 2".
* My favorite fan fiction writers are "Jim Robert Bader" and "Doug Dennis".
* My favorite games are "Final Fantasy XI Online" (Character: Katsuhito,
Job: Beastmaster, Subjob: White Mage, Level: 15, Server: Asura),
"Counter Strike Source", "Half-Life 2", "Unreal Tournament 2004" and
"The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess" (Wii version).

.:*Sailor Moon Sailor Stars Fan dub*:.
(Currently) and for a very long time (almost a year) I have been
slowly working on my Sailor Stars Fan dub. I've been creating
original music and hunting down old DIC music as well. My fan dub is
being adapted to DIC version of Sailor Moon. I've made new 4
transitions which will be used in the series. (Eternal locket,
sailor moon transforming, mirror incarnation, and star seed) These
will be used during the series. Soon in December, My website will be
up, I have a professional graphic designer creating it for me, and
so I am super excited! Auditions will probably be around December,
depending on how much of the script is written. I would like for the
Complete Script to be complete and all video editing complete by
audition time. Anywayz I could use some help! Please help support my
dub and join my yahoo group! I would love to hear your comments!

Same here. And whether it's a nice reply to something said from my
site or one of my closest but distant buddies, I'm just really really
bad about emailing people. I haven't written anything in my weblog
since February 24 and that's a bit worse than normal for me ^^;;;

I've been slow on the recent movie thing lately...being horribly
destitute does that to a person...
I actually never saw the second one, but Ryan Renolds is hot...along
with a couple of the other guys in the movie...::droolage:: I'm just

of the Opera(ick), Life Aquatic(not that good), and Finding Neverland.
I highly enjoyed the first Blade but the second wasn't as good and I
just don't like the plot for the third. I'll see it on video.

Nope, but I would like to go see it, problem is I'm
