This group is to promote the examination of alternative scenarios for the near future following upon the social, economic and political consequences of the Gulf War, Corporate Globalisation and the international fuel energy crisis.

It is a moderated group, borne out of the Western Australian Globalisation Roundtable - a bimonthly meeting of individuals and groups interested in

(a) educating the public of Western Australia about the issues of Globalisation and Privatisation;
(b) researching issues of concern to Western Australians in the above areas; and
(c) strengthening Western Australian communities by encouraging a more ecologically sustainable future
