The Giles Homeschool Network was formed in 1999 to serve homeschooling families in Giles and surrounding counties. Our purpose is to provide information, encouragement, and educational opportunities for families who educate their children at home. While a Christian worldview represents the majority of our members, we welcome all homeschoolers to our group.

We do not maintain a formal organizational structure, but work as a group to make decisions. Members voluntarily initiate educational activities for the group. Current members use our yahoo site to keep the group informed of any homeschool or community event, as well as advice and guidance on homeschooling.
