Gifted-NLD-AS is an email-based list for parents and educators of children who have been diagnosed with a Non-Verbal Learning Disorder (NLD) and/or Aspergers Syndrome and are also high-ability-learners (Gifted). Children with high IQs coupled with NLD/AS are a very different and somewhat rare group of kids. The idea of this list is to foster a free exchange of ideas and information among parents and teachers. I will also occasionally post articles relating to both NLD and Giftedness, and encourage all members to do the same.

This list is a restricted list (you will be contacted and screened upon requesting membership) geared toward parents and educators. Anyone posting for-profit info or inappropriate material will be instantly dropped from the list without warning. Likewise, abusive or profane posters will be instantly purged (In the interest of free speech, some sarcasm and heated discussion is acceptable, however). Lurkers will be tolerated, but are asked to join in if possible.
