AKWAABA!

This group was conceived by a few of us who served together in the Army at Ft. Riley, Kansas. We knew there were other Ghanaians in the military but didn't know how to connect with them. We thought it would be neat to start a group to bring together all Ghanaians - or Americans of Ghanaian origin - who are serving/have served in the US Military (civilian employees included). Other Africans are also welcome to join.

We are united by a common cause and are proud to make our affiliation with the military known. Our mission is to network, and to provide a reliable support system for all who need it. We can get to know each other, help each other out in various ways, organize social events etc. We would like to emphasize that we have no political or religious affiliations or ambitions.
