ppossum Thanks for another wonderful pic.  Keep up the good work.
I'm just checking in.  It's been quiet here the past week.  Well I
guess it's unanimous that the new series will be Called "The New
Adventures Of The Get Along Gang."  The cartoon will follow more
along to the original style that Nelvana pioneered but will have some
of DIC stuff into it too.  Now here are the new personality
traits/Looks of the Gang.
Montgomery:  Now sporting a cooler look (note: cooler look will
appear in episode 3 I'm still tweaking the characters a bit. The
first 2 episodes will kindah' retro a bit.)will be mostly refered to
his nickname more often "Good News"  Portia will have problems saying
Montgomery often calling him Montgoofery or guffery.
Dotty:  Regains her brainpower!!!! but throghout the series we will
notice she has a crush on Montgomery and Zipper.  Her look is still
the same except I got rid of the stripes on her sweater and she will
wear sweat pants more often instead of a skirt all the time.
Zipper:  More of the serious type.  Never laughs at jokes and is more
stronger likes lifting weights and now has a craving for xtreme
sports like skateboarding X games style.  Looses the sweat suit look
for a body builder look/skater look in some episodes.
Woolma:  Hasn't changed much now supports an attitude and is willing
to speak her mind on anything.  She is no longer the cute preacher's
daughter she can turn on a dime.  Still has a crush on Rudyard.
Lower cut dress less bows sometimes.  Not much change.
Bingo:  Still bets it all.  Except a new rule is made he can no longer
bet the Clubhouse on anything period.  Basically a goof off.  But
will snitch on anybody to get his way.  Basically he has turned into
a weasel.  (*no fear he is still a beaver.) Now sports a T shirt with
overals.  Mainly because of Hoofnagel's no shirt no shoes rule.
Portia:  Always the youngest of the bunch but she has trouble
wrapping her touge around words and mispronounces alot of the Gang's
name on occasion.  Her look hasn't changed based on the DIC look.
Rocco:  Mainly plays the background character likes to spread
rumors.  Spies on alot of people.  Hangs around Bingo more in this
series.  Really becomes one of the main characters in the GAG.
Outspoken on some occasions.  Now sports a stitch instead of a band
aid.  Makes him look tougher.  Wears an over shirt like Montgomery
appears Middle class like Montgomery also.
Braker:  AKA Brains for our British Fans.  He becomes super nerd in
this series his goal is to turn the caboose into his own Dexter's
Labratory.  Helps the Gang alot with their homework and also is a
part of the team who has wired Green Meadow up with wireless Internet
connections.  Just so he can be online when he is hanging out with
the Gang at the Caboose.  Most of the time wearing a Lab Jacket
sometimes with electronic equipment on.  Still wears the sailor hat
when he don't have a headset on.
Floria Fox:  The journal keeper now loves to write and take
pictures.  She works on the school annual staff.
Lolly Squrrel:  The rich girl bearly has time for the gang but shows
up time to time.
Bernice Bear:  The clean freak.  Hates to leave the clubhouse for an
extended period of time for the fear of the boys messing it up with
one of their sleepovers.
Rudyard Lion:  Barely will be seen until the gang go to his home
country.  Hey he needs a cartoon to explain where he comes from.
Catchum Croc:  This dude will be an ego maniac.  He tries anything to
break up The Get Along Gang just to be irritatable.  He gets his own
hideout in the series within sight of the Gang's caboose on the edge
of Gummyfoot Swamp.  His favorite pasttime is konking Leland on the
head.  Looks the same except he wears a jacket everywhere what can
you expect from a cold blooded reptile.
Leland Lizard:  Has two personalities. He acts like he does in the
DIC version but turns into the zany Nelvana version after Catchum
Konks him on the head.  Looks the same but has brighter colors on to
better match Catchum.
Hoofnagel and Officer Growler:  Will appear but new personalities
have yet to be decided.
Mortimer Moose:  Montogomery's father will play a role later in the
series for getting his son in some crazy situations in which the gang
have to bail him out.
Debra Dog:  Dotty's Mother is a worry wart and is often looking for
Dotty while Dotty is spending time hiding from her.
More characters will be on their way be sure to tune in and if you
have any ideas or coments please feel free to post them on the
message board.

Well, you're just gonna have to,aren't you? Believe you
me,everyone's just as keen as you are to see the new G.A.G.
adventures! Writing and drawing comic strips to any degree of
excellence is really hard work,even if you don't have any other
responsibilities. Bumwolf,as he has tried to make plain,evidently
without being entirely successful,is not one of those fortunate
individuals! To help stave off the pangs of withdrawal, I will try
to squeeze some more artwork out of my "Paint" program for the fan
art album. In the meantime,please, hard as it may be, try to have
just a little more patience.

The Get Along Kids New Series
Writing Call!
Well I've just posted some of the latest info for the (Get Along
Kids) series.  Now here
is how you can contribute!  Because I'm doing this as a fan of the
series and I know you are
all fans too.  I would like you to contribute to this new series in
the hopes somebody will resurrect the series.
I'm looking for scripts for new episodes to turn into comics. I'm not
saying I will turn it into an episode but I'll consider it and I'll
let you know if I use your script and give you credit.  You can use
some of my ***IN THE WORKS NEXT*** Ideas because no scripts are done
for them yet. And these in the works are subject to change.  *****IN
PRODUCTION THIS WEEK!******  means the work is already going under
the pencil and can't be changed.
Now Here Is The Rules
1.  All original characters.*  Unless its a parody.  *=Characters
created by yourself not Disney or Warner Bros.
2.  No adult situations if there is some let's keep it to toilet
humor.  AKA Ren & Stimpy John K.  Style.
3.  Keep it simple Remember each episode is only two pages consisting
of 16-20 panels AKA Square boxes in comics.  With pictures.  Two
parters may be a possibility if the story is good enough.
4.  Only do it for the love of the series and if you want to build on
what AMG dropped Back in 86.
5.  Have Fun!

I'm going to put up a new set soon from the DVD version.  I've ran
the pilot through Adobe premiere and cleaned it up a bit.  I wish I
could share the remastered vids with you all but I don't own the
rights to them but if I did I would sell you all copys.  But I'll
take the risk sharing the pics.  I'm adding a new feature for you to
all keep track of the new comic series.  Check out the GAG opening
statement for info.  And spread the word we are back online THIS TIME

Wow! This is making fun of "The Crocodile Hunter" using Catchum Crocodile
from the Get Along Gang. Hope Leland Lizard is his bodyguard...

I was just handed some inspiration for what to include in the New
Adventures Of The Get Along Gang.  I'm going to put in some old
school stuff.  And some new school stuff needless to say you will not
recognize the new GAG.  If you don't know by now read my arguments on
how to improve the GAG.  Well there is nothing we can do about the
past what done is done doesn't mean that we can't change up a few
things to entertain us now.
Now for the reunion.  It's now in the trash I'll admit it sucked I
had a beginning and an end planned but no storyline to get from point
a to b.  So I'll tell you what was planned for the ending.
Catchum finally relizes he has been swindled by Mayor Wolf he comes
to Montgomery for help.  Montgomery rallies the gang to stop Mayor
wolf.  Mayor Wolf somehow gets ahold of the deeds to half of the town
and runs toward the border in a hyjacked train.  This is where it
turns into an episode of Dukes Of Hazzard.  The gang chase after
Mayor Wolf in the caboose.  Bingo reveals a secret motor drive he has
installed and the chase goes into warp speed.  Up ahead a storm
springs up and Mayor Wolf's Train jumps the track.  The caboose comes
down the hill too fast.  And thanks to Bingo the brakes are way too
oiled again IE Them's The Brakes.  The caboose can't stop and
everybody has to jump.  The caboose slams into the train and a
cataclysmic explosion ends the Clubhouse's life.  Portia and the gang
let out a big cry but Montgomery stops them because of the train fire
and people trapped who need to be rescued.  Leeland and Catchum stop
Mayor Wolf from escaping on foot while the passengers are rescued by
the teaming GAG.  Now a skip to the end where Montgomery gives up and
decides to leave Green Meadow when he finds out his car won't start.
He slams his head on the steering wheel as a train pulls up.  Sulking
he wearly looks up and notices a bright red caboose at the end and on
the caboose is the whole GAG. Bingo:  You need a lift?  And the gang
ride off into the sunset the end.
Lets hope that wets your appetite.

P.s.
Looking for episode ideas and sugguestion Fan Fiction Welcomed.  I
may turn it into an episode in the upcoming Season.  Lets just dump
all the past GAG ideas on how to improve the old series and come up
with some new ones clean slate. It's 2002 people not 1984 Let's Get
Up!

This right here is a rare breed that is usually sited around Green
Meadow.  Known to be a troublemaker and fond of red cabooses.  He
thinks that this is his territory.  So to help balance the local
population due to him attacking a group of kids known as the Get
Along Gang.  We are moving him to another swamp.  Tune in next week
as we transport another rugged lizard out of here to another location.
