This group discusses all works by Georges Simenon concentrating on the Maigret stories, but not excluding the other works. All contributions at whatever level are welcome. Part of the aim is to encourage the re-reading of Simenon's works (hence a tentative program) which is supplemented by additional information on the background of the stories such as geographical info, Simenon's own life from which he draws most of his fiction, and other literary aspects of his work and its relationship to other crime and detective fiction.
