This is the e-mail group list for the General William Douglas MacRae SCV Camp in Southeast North Carolina.

The General William MacRae Camp, SCV Camp 2063, is named after Brig. General William MacRae, who was born in Wilmington, N.C. on September 8, 1834. He fought bravely during the War for Southern Independence, and was greatly admired by his men for his bravery and leadership. He died on February 11, 1882 and is buried in Wilmington, N.C.

Like the general, this camp is dedicated to a vigorous defense of our heritage, and to honor the cause for which our ancestors fought. In this era, when Southern culture is under increasing attack, it is even more important than ever before to aggressively defend our heritage and the honor of our ancestors.
