Resource for owners and owners-to-be of the Garmin GPSmap 76C/76Cx/76CS/76CSx GPS units.

Direct advertisements or spam will not be tolerated (it'll get you banned). So will any post(s) related to the trading of copyrighted software and/or data. Also, your Yahoo profile must specify a working email address for you to become/stay a member of this group!

You might also want to join the GPSmap 60C/60CS and 60Cx/60CSx groups as these units are very similar.

If you upload pictures to the Photos area of the group please put them in a folder with the same name as your Yahoo ID.

Please place any custom waypoint symbols you wish to share in the Files/Waypoint Symbols/Custom area of the group (there's Readme files in that folder).

Mapsource will do this. Go File/save as and look for the .txt type file. Save a .txt file, then you can open that txt file with notepad and copy and paste the

... I've been using GPS Utility for this purpose - you can download a free version which allows you to handle up to 100 waypoints (I think) at a time or pay
