Gardening in Oklahoma's unpredictable and often harsh climate is not for the easily discouraged. We have special problems that are not always covered in the slick gardening books. But we can help one another by sharing what works and what doesn't in this land of the red earth. While vegetable gardeners are welcome, the focus of this mailing list is decorative plantings and flower gardening.

Members are encouraged to ask questions and share their knowledge of gardening in Oklahoma as we all learn together. Forwards relating to gardening are fine, as is the posting of links of interest to other gardeners. Repeated postings, however, that are merely promotions of any website will be considered spam. If you have another website please confine the promotion of it to a link after your signature.

Attaching pictures of our gardens are allowed and always welcome.

Solicitation for any commercial reason will not be allowed. Members who violates this rule will be summarily un-subscribed.

Members are expected to keep messages not relating to gardening to a minimum.
