This group is set up as a contacts/messaging/mailing centre for the Galway Vegetarian Group.

Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday of the month. One exception per year is in August when the Galway Vegetarian Group celebrates its birthday every year on August 8th unless the 8th happens to be a Saturday or a Sunday and the celebration takes place on the first Thursday of the month. In 2009 the Group was 4 years old.

The September 2009 meeting (meeting number 50) of the Galway Vegetarian Group took place on Thursday 3rd of September (first Thursday of the month) at 8pm in the usual venue Massimos Pub.

The Galway Vegetarian Group's October 2009 monthly meeting was integrated with the "Allotments for Galway" Public Meeting and was on October 1st at 8pm in the Clybaun hotel and not at the usual venue Massimos Pub.

At the October meeting, it was decided that the November meeting (meeting number 52) would be in the form of a vegetarian meal in the Kashmir Indian Restaurant at 8pm on Thursday November 5th 2009. The location of the Kashmir Indian restaurant is Kilderry House, Lower Fairhill Road, Galway. Tel (091) 520099 / 589900 / 563456.
