The Galindo Neighborhood group is designed for residents of the Galindo Elementary Neighborhood Association ("GENA") to communicate. Membership in GENA and this group is open to residential property owners and renters residing within GENA's boundaries. GENA's boundaries are Oltorf on the north, Ben White on the south, Union Pacific Railway on the west and South First Street on the east. The purpose of the association is to seek to improve the quality of life in the neighborhood in matters such as land use, traffic control, social functions, environmental protection, public services, and other matters of neighborhood concern.

We are relying on your politeness, neighborliness, and good sense when you post. Full netiquette guidelines will be sent to you when you join and are available in the files section of the group.

You can join GENA by attending one of our meetings, which are held on the fourth Monday of odd months - January, March, May, July, September, and November, and paying dues ($10, which can be waived in certain circumstances), or by sending your dues to GENA's treasurer. Please email lovingcup1@yahoo.com for that information. Simply signing up to receive emails through the Yahoo Group does not mean that you are a member of GENA; you must still provide your information to GENA's treasurer and pay dues (unless waived).
